Even before the press conference, three of the key advisory board members complained that they had not been able to evaluate the report ahead of time.

One of Prof. Bruce Wexler’s conclusions: There is no demonization of Jews or Israelis in PA school books

Wexler was therefore asked about…

  1. PA School books that encourage pupils to emulate those who murder Jews in terror actions
  2. PA School books that encourage pupils to join the armed struggle to liberate Palestine, all of Palestine
  3. School books that are feature the “right of return” to homes/villages lost in 1948 with precise “right of return” maps to guide pupils to actually reclaim their homes from 1948
  4. Jewish holy sites described in new PA school books as exclusively Islamic holy sites

To all four questions, Wexler and his two colleagues simply denied that these phenomena do not appear in PA school books. At the press conference, there were at least six attendees in the audience who had seen the new PA school books and who attested to the veracity of all four issues.

Meanwhile, here are some references to the career of Daniel Bar Tal, who was one of the three people who presented the textbook report/ Check this out:
