Following the attack in Kiryat Arba that killed 13-year-old Hallel Yaffa Ariel, the Simon Wiesenthal Center calls on the international community to suspend funding for the Palestinian Authority until it ends its “promotion of serial hatred of Jews and glorification of murderers.”

“Everyone in the world, from the Quartet to the EU, to the US State Department has a long menu of demands of Israel in order to reach a peace accord with the Palestinians, the center’s dean Marvin Hier and associate dean Abraham Cooper say in a statement.

“After the latest murder of a Jewish girl while she slept in her bed by a Palestinian terrorist — who glorified Hitler on his Facebook page, the Jewish people have their own precondition: The Palestinian Authority and the institutions it funds, from TV to schools, to mosques must end their promotion of serial hatred of Jews and glorification of murderers,” they write.

The statement continues: “It is time for donor nations, NGOs and churches who back the Palestinians to finally demand accountability, policies and actions worthy of a true peace partner, not Murder Incorporated. The most important step that the international community can take right now is to suspend funding of the PA until it proves it is committed to peace, not murder.”
