The UN web site speaks for itself: http://www.unctopt. org/en/agencies/unrwa.html:

Th e UNRWA mandate expires on “30 June 2011”.

This provides an opportunity for nations that contribute to UNRWA to reform the UNRWA policies, so that UNRWA will promote resettlement of these four million descendants of Palestinian refugees from the 1948 war who wallow in 59 UNRWA camps under the illusion that they can be repatriated to villages from 1948 that no longer exist.
If the legislative bodies of the US, Norway, Canada and the EU would recommend this as a humanitarian gesture to improve the lives of the descendants of Palestinian refugees, that would be a step in the right direction in solving one of the real human tragedies of this generation.

  1. It is a disgrace what has become of the U,N, .they are at best an impotent group, impotent in the face of genocide ,as they were in Ruwanda, and they are in blind disregard as to the wanton slaughter of thousands in arab countries, they are of the "blindset" ,that it is only arabs bussiness when they massacre tens of thousands ,and therefore emain gurging in impotence. The only thing that the U.N. seems to unified in these days, is in the wretchedly wrongfull anti-ISRAELi ,anti-semetic policies, and statements, posturing, taking the side of liars ,terrorists, all the while giving those lying violent racists a podium to voit out their racist rants.
I do hope that the U.S. has the backbone to cease funding the U.N. ,and to expose it for what it has become , an irrelevant ,impotent group ,hijaked by the speial interests of groups of repressive ,racist regies ,who have no respect for humanity, dignity, nor ,the truth.
