Cairo, July 14 (Petra)–Conference of Supervisors of Palestinian Affairs in Arab Host Countries stressed its strong rejection of unilateral Israeli policies as well as its support to rights of Palestinians, mainly the right of return.

The conference affirmed in recommendations issued at the conference’s 86th session held in Cairo, that the issue of Palestinian refugees is the core of Palestinian cause and that a resolution to this issue in accordance with resolution 194 is the base for the establishment of just and comprehensive peace.

The conference rejected a demand made by Israel and some international parties to recognize Israel as a Jewish state which aim at abolishing the right of return and compensation for Palestinian refugees.

Earlier, Jordan stressed its remarks at the conference which was delivered by its representative from the Department of Palestinian Affairs Najih Aqrabawi, that the Palestinian issues tops its political priorities and that failure to solve the Palestinian issue will never lead to peace and stability in the region.
