The Hamas regime rules Gaza and which declares every day that it is sworn to a state of war to destroy Israel, invoking the war whoops of the Arab League in 1948 and 1967.

Carmella Menashe  acts as the Israel Broadcasting Authority’s radio correspondent who covers the IDF, and has been in that position for more than twenty years.

Carmella Menashe  tells the people of Israel that Hamas has no interest in war with Israel, and that the those who fire missiles from Gaza represent rogue organizations who bomb Israel independently of the tightly run Hamas totalitarian regime.

No one bothers to ask how any totalitarian regime would allow “rogue” organizations to fire missiles without its consent.

Carmella’s IBA is not an independent media outlet. The IBA is owned and operated by the government of Israel. And Carmella reflects what the government wants you to hear.

I have heard time and again from sources at the Israel Knesset Security and Defense Committee that the Israeli military establishment wants the Hamas to remain in power because they provide a stable regime that will not attack Israel.

The straw that broke the camel’s back occurred when Carmella declared, one hour after the missiles struck in Sderot on Thursday morning October 5, 2016, that “Hamas has not fired even one time at Israel since a cease fire halted hostilities in Gaza at the end of August 2014, because Hamas had no interest in war with Israel”.

I immediately fired off a question to the IBA radio, which was: “If that is the case, how does Carmella explain the fact that the Hamas regime is training thousands of children from Gaza UNRWA schools in the use of live weapons? No response received. The films that we made in Gaza portray these kids as  Hamas trains them for total war, to liberate – by force of arms – areas where the grandparents fled in the wake of the 1948 war.

Look at the determination on the faces of these children and listen to the indoctrination that they have gone through. You will find it hard to understand why  the Israel Broadcasting Authority IDF  correspondent tells you that Hamas intentions are peaceful.

Our recent films which portray UNRWA school children in Gaza as they are trained for war by Hamas:
