At a time when pundits await the details of US President Trump’s master plan for the Middle East, rumors fly across the political spectrum as to  the  US gov’t policy towards Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Palestinian  Authority, the PA, an entity which derives its authority from the Palestine Liberation Organization, the PLO. https://tinyurl.com/y3wl8e2y

So what is the real US Middle East Policy?

  1. US gov’t distributes maps which demarcate Golan as part of Israel, but demarcate Judea & Samaria as extraterritorial to Israel.

  2. US gov’t , while moving its embassy to Jerusalem, does not recognize Israel sovereignty over Jerusalem.  US documents issued in Jerusalem continue to list “Jerusalem” with no country.

[ Full Disclosure: Our two grandsons born in Jerusalem this year received US issued birth certificates which state “Jerusalem, with no country, as their place of birth.]
In that context. Meanwhile, the US gov’t openly prevents Israel from expanding the “Givat HaMatos” Jewish neighborhood in Southern Jerusalem.
  3. So far, the US gov’t has not conditioned aid packages to the PA on cancellation of:
    a. The PLO covenant charter to destroy Israel, which the PLO obligated itself to do as parr ot fhe “Declaration of Principles” on the White House lawn on September 13. 1993

    b. A new PA curriculum which indoctrinates children to strive for “right of return” by force of arms. https://israelbehindthenews.com/israel-jews-and-peace-in-the-new-pa-textbooks-used-in-unrwa-schools-today-final-study/16903/
    c. Cancellation of a PA ordinance which provides automatic gratuity for anyone who murders a Jew.

A positive step that the US and all governments should include in any master plan would be to require peace education in the PA as a condition for any further plans for peace.
