Subject: Response to Hitler emulation curriculum in the PA,

The following article describes the response of the Vatican ambassador to Israel, which caused the Italian government ‘to pull their funds from the PA:

“With encouragement from a VATICAN official, Israeli government finally denounces a Palestinian school system that was introduced more than 13 years ago”

One findings of the new study: Hitler is presented to students of the PA school system as a model to be emulated.

The question: Will you,ask that funds be suspended to the PA and UNRWA [which used the PA school books] until the PA and UNRWA implement a new curriculum.

As noted in the article,the PA has an alternative:

Ber Zeit University, hardly a bastion of Zionism, prepared a curriculum which emphasized reconciliation with Israel and with the people of Israel.

However, that curriculum has never been implemented.
