In WSJ of August 7, 2019, pundits Alex Joffe and Asaf Romirowsky suggest that the “Palestinian Authority take over UNRWA* , promoting the idea that “UNRWA’s 30,000 employees could join the Palestinian Authority, which would take over its health, education and welfare responsibilities like the state it claims to be”

Do Joffe and Romirowsky not know that the PA, established by the Palestine Liberation Organization, represents the greatest problem for UNRWA and not the solution for UNRWA?

Do Joffe and Romirowsky not know that the UNRWA schools with the PA for the past 19 years to use their PA war curriculum?

As for their suggestion to transfer UNRWA health and welfare responsibilities to the PA, do Joffe and Romirowsky not know about the slew of reports which document the inherent corruption of the PA health and welfare departments, which dwarfs the indiscretions of UNRWA?
