1. AJA STATEMENT: ALBANESE SHAMELESSLY MILKING DEATH OF AUSTRALIAN AID WORKER IN GAZA
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese seems to be shamelessly milking the tragic death of Australian aid worker, Lalzawmi “Zomi” Frankcom for political gain.
AJA CEO, Robert Gregory, said:
“Two Australians have been killed since Hamas started the war in Gaza.
The contrast with the PM’s response to the death of the other Australian, Galit Carbone, who was actually intentionally butchered is stark. Albanese didn’t bother to call Israel’s Prime Minister for weeks and refused to visit. Now he’s attacking Israel at every moment and making demands. Maybe it’s because Galit was Jewish, and her murderers were Palestinian Arabs.
If he wasn’t already leading the most anti-Israel government in Australian history, before this tragedy occurred, maybe we’d believe that his outrage was genuine.
Albanese and Labor knowingly send money to UNRWA after it was implicated in the murder of Jews on October 7. They don’t have a leg to stand on.
Gaza is a volatile, complex, high-risk war zone. The way to stop civilian casualties is for Hamas to release the hostages and surrender. This is the only demand the Prime Minister should be making. Exploiting a warzone tragedy like this is just repugnant.”

6. AJA Presents: Should Jews be allowed to return to Gaza? with Daniella Weiss & Lital Slonim of Nachala
** AJA Weekly Zoom Speaker Series Presents **
Gaza’s Jewish history stretches thousands of years. Jews were expelled by the Romans, crusaders and British.
In 2005, Israel expelled 10 thousand Jews from 21 communities in Gaza as a gesture for peace. With the takeover by Hamas it had the opposite effect.
AJA doesn’t take a position on this issue, but polls show that almost 40% of Israelis support Jews returning to Gaza.
Daniella Weiss was mayor of Kedumim and founded the Nachala Settlement Movement, which works to create Jewish communities in Judea & Samaria. Lital Slonim is the International Director of the Nachala Settlement Movement.
