The All Party Parliamentary Group on Israel-UK published a 312-page report on March 18, 2025, titled The Roberts Report on The 7 October Attacks documenting the devastating details of the October 7 attacks in southern Israel and the Hamas-led atrocities. The Report is an irrefutable record of the terrorists’ crimes of murder, rape, torture, and kidnapping of civilians.

The report states it, “Has been undertaken to counter such pernicious views, and to lay down incontrovertible proof – for now and for the years to come – that nearly 1,200 innocent people were indeed murdered by Hamas and its allies, and very often in scenes of sadistic barbarism not seen in world history since the Rape of Nanjing in 1937.”

I am sharing this detailed report with you with the acknowledgement of knowing how complex and also the size it is.

“From the deepest desires often come the deadliest hate.” – Socrates.

The following describe some of the specifics itemised:

1,182 people were murdered by Hamas and their allies, and over 4,000 were wounded. This makes October 7 the deadliest terrorist attack per capita, with just over 1 in every 10,000 Israelis killed.

A total of 251 hostages were taken – 210 were alive and 41 were bodies. When the hostages were being taken to Gaza, several were subjected to abuse including physical assault, verbal abuse, sexual assault, and humiliating and degrading treatment. The abuse of hostages also continued during their time in captivity, including sunlight deprivation, starvation, binding, beatings, sexual abuse, and other degrading and humiliating treatment.

During the attacks, the terrorists committed acts of rape, gang rape, forced mutilation, sexualised torture, forced nudity, and posting sexualised images of victims on social media. Many of these incidents occurred at the Nova Festival & Route 232, as well as Kibbutz Re’im, Kibbutz Kfar Aza, Kibbutz Be’eri, and military bases. The number of victims of sexual violence, both living and killed, has not been released to the public.

Several UNRWA employees (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East) are known to have participated in the October 7 attack. This includes a UNRWA employee and Hamas commander who was seen, on video, directing terrorists to attack a roadside shelter with grenades where dozens of young people from the Nova Festival were taking shelter.

Lord Roberts of Belgravia, Chairperson of the All-Party Parliamentary Group said, “Hamas and its allies, both in the Middle East and equally shamefully in the West, have sought to deny the atrocities, despite the ironic fact that much of the evidence for the massacres derives from film footage from cameras carried by the terrorists themselves.”

Roberts adds: “Holocaust denial took a few years to take root in pockets of society, but on 7 October 2023 it took only hours for people to claim that the massacres in southern Israel had not taken place.”

Accordingly, as stated, “The work of the 7 October Parliamentary Commission is ongoing. This report is the first publication aimed at preserving an accurate record of the events. Research and writing for this edition took place from January 2024 to January 2025. As official inquiries uncover new information, the Commission will continue to verify and update its work.”
