Do not let Corona kill your simcha

A blogger wrote this week that she does not want to say Chag Sameach because of Corona.

During the Yom Kippur War, fairly new to Israel and fairly new to being observant, I had trouble walking into a schule on Simchat Torah while battles were raging.
Out walked an older fellow and stared at me standing there.

I told him why I was too sad to come in.

His response: Throughout WWII, he maintained a minyan in hiding, celebrating every Chag with joy.

He said that he would not allow Hitler to take away his simcha, and asked me why I would allow Sadat and Assad to take my simcha.

Do not let Corona kill your Simcha.
