This past week the Gaza Strip was relatively quiet. So far it is not known if the return marches will resume on March 30 as planned. A stabbing attack was attempted at the Nablus Gate in the Old City in Jerusalem. The terrorist was detained. No casualties were reported.

A spokesman for the Palestinian Authority (PA) government announced that so far 26 people infected with the coronavirus have been identified, most of them in Bethlehem. The PA declared a state of emergency and took a series of steps to prevent the spread of the virus in its territory. So far no cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the Gaza Strip.

The outbreak of the coronavirus has led to a decrease in the number of worshippers who go to the mosques to pray in comparison with previous weeks. In Judea and Samaria Palestinians continue throwing stones at Israel vehicles driving on the roads.
