Full disclosure: I run an agency which engages experts to provide research for more than 20 years on the schools, and texts of the new education system run by the Palestinian Authority since the year 2000, which operates under the aegis of the Palestine Liberation Organization.

PA textbooks are used as the exclusive source for curriculum in UNRWA in Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem and even in Gaza.

This is our comprehensive work which has been published by the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center, a private think tank engaged by Israel intelligence.

The UNRWA war curriculum – Israel Behind the News

The message of PA/PLO education: demonization and destruction of Israel, albeit in stages.

It is hard to say if this education reflects Palestinian Arab society. After all, the PLO was imposed on their people. The rise of the PLO to power 27 years ago was facilitated by the Israel Defense Forces, which imported the PLO from Tunis, with the notion that the PLO would rule Palestinian Arab society, and free Israel from that burden.

The movers and shakers of Israeli intelligence continue to assert that Israel must deal with the PLO, no matter what.

Israel intelligence protects the PLO and its administrative arm, the PA.

Israel intelligence protects UNRWA.

Israel intelligence has not changed its position.

There is a psychological matter at hand.

The Israel Prime Minister who accompanied the PLO rise to power was Yitzhak Rabin, assassinated two years after the deal.

Ever since, criticism of Rabin policies is considered taboo, especially in Israel intelligence.

Is that why Israel intelligence ignores the reality of a school system that indoctrinates the next generation to war?
