Tzipi Schlissel’s book, ‘Hebron Breaks the Silence’, is a collection of vignettes on what is really happening in Hebron that has now been translated into English. She speaks with Eve Harow about how the murder of her father, Rav Shlomo Ra’anan, the grandson of the great Rav Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Kook, brought her to the city nearly 20 years ago. She has since devoted herself to setting the story straight about the Jewish presence in the town of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs. Her book illuminates the 3800 year history in a charming and personable way, mixed with facts and documentation.
