US ambassador at the UN Linda Greenfield hosted & endorsed the testimony of Robi Damelin at the UN Security Council.

Have asked – What do the Parents Circle and the US Legation at the UN say about UNRWA children trained with weapons on the front line?

What do the Parents Circle and the US Legation at the UN have to say about the PA/UNRWA curriculum which trains Palestinian Arab children for total war?

Dear David,

“There is hope. I can tell all of you here that if there is no hope, there will never be peace. It is a remarkably important part of the peace seeking equation.”

–Robi Damelin, bereaved Israeli mother, briefing the UN Security Council
Today, I was invited by the U.S. Delegate to the United Nations to brief the UN Security Council. The meeting focused on the situation in Israel and Palestine, the escalation of violence and settlement expansion.

I spoke to their hearts. I told them how this conflict has affected me and the 600 bereaved Palestinian Israelis in the PCFF.

I stressed that peace is not possible without reconciliation.

I invited them to come to Palestine and Israel and see the human cost of the conflict on the ground.

I reminded them of the 68 children who were killed in the most recent war in Gaza. I asked them if any of them knew their names.

I urged them not to take sides.

I demanded that they maintain a sense of hope, and to never give up.

The Parents Circle knows that people listen with their hearts. Even the U.N. Security Council.

  1. If you intend for people to donate to your cause…the article by Robi Damelin “I spoke to the Security Council’s Heart…..fell short of saying what the org does. what the monies donated will be used ffor, etc. Robi “testified” as to the 68 children who died. The article also mentioned 68 children who were killed in the most recent war in Gaza. Did they die as a result of Gazans” sending missles INTO Israel and Israel retaliatiing? Was it because the chidren were used – as child “martyrs”?? Children trained with weapons on the front line?
THE UNRWA CHILD SOLDIER. It doesn’t say WHAT the goals are of “What do the Parents Circle and the US Legation at the UN have to say about the PA/UNRWA curriculum which trains Palestinian Arab children for total war? What civilized society teaches children to use guns and be violent? The aticle further mentions necessity of education for Palestinian children. WHY are they not being educated…and might the text books they do have, teach HATE?? Since Israel LEFT Gaza years ago….so, whose fault is it if these children go without education?? I quote,”I invited them to come to Palestine and Israel”…..Palestine??? Where is Palestine???
Over many years – Israel has made offers, concilliations, and even handed back land (Gaza) which Israel had won fairly in a defensive war (1967). To this day – those who LOST the war are beyond grieff for having lost…Catastrophy and Embarrassment ovewhelm the losers of a war. In that was Israel WON the Sinai from Egypt (which Israel subsequently returned), the Golan Heights from Syria , and from Jordan, it retrieved Judea and Samaria (now known as the West Bank) that it had ceded to Jordan in 1948 in an exchange for Jordan’s non-intervention. Since Israel won the spoils of war…Those lands are hers…so,who really are the occupiers??? Israel has tried to make peace…concessions, return of land, bargains..ALWAYS turned down. WHY? Likely because they are serious of taking ALL the land sans ALL Jews.
Does this sound like a mutually agreeable peace plan?
