Why are we here? and Where in God’s name could we be going?” which will feature a discussion between activist physician Alice Rothchild and international human rights attorney Jonathan Kuttab.
- On 30 November, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace will hold a virtual event titled “Navigating Discourses on Israel and Palestine: Civic Space, Expression, and Dialogue in Challenging Times,” which will feature a discussion with Tino Cuéllar, Yael Berda, Daniel Levy, and Suha Salman Mousa.
- On 29 November, The People’s Forum held live performance of “The Gaza Monologues” in New York City. These are testimonies written by Palestinian youth in 2010, highlighting the fears, hopes and resilience of Gazans.
- On 26 November, Human Rights Watch published findings from its investigation into the 17 October explosion at al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza. Based on the evidence, it appeared that the explosion resulted from a rocket-propelled munition, but further investigation is needed to determine who launched it and whether it violated the laws of war.
- On 24 November, Jewish Voice for Peace published a timeline titled “Countdown to genocide: the year before 7 October,” which highlights various events that have taken place in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory since November 2022.
United Nations
- On 29 November, the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People (CEIRPP) held a special meeting to commemorate International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. Following the remarks, an exhibit titled “Palestine: A Land with a People” was inaugurated in the Visitor’s Lobby of the General Assembly Hall.
